Sound Scenes

On our walk this morning, we saw a shrimper working in the Sound.

Instead of Red Sails in the Sunset, it was Silver Nets in the Sunlight!

We've had loads of butterflies in the rocks for some time now. I managed to get a shot of one. You can just see his orange color over the seagull in the middle.

And then I lucked out and caught part of a flock of them frolicking. Don't think I've ever seen as many flitting around as I have this past month!

  1. Do the butterflies migrate from your area further south?

    1. Uh, uh... Why yes, yes I believe they do! The monarchs go as far as Mexico, I'm pretty sure!
